What we keep
- Your account: email, the name you gave it, the state you title cars in, and the settings that change your answers - your cushion, your shop's rate, what your own hour is worth, how long you will wait for a part.
- The cars you run: the listing text you paste, the photos you upload, and the answer. Photos are kept in a private folder only your account can reach and reach our AI provider as links that expire.
- What you tell us afterwards: what a car really sold for, what the parts really cost, your hours, the surprises, and whether the damage was worse in person.
- Public auction listings the extension reads - the car, the damage, photo links, the current bid. These hold nothing personal and are shared between accounts as a cache.
- How the product is used: counts and shapes, like “an analysis started, from a pasted listing, with four photos”. Never the listing text, never an address, never anything you wrote.
- Billing is handled by Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription ids and never see your card number.
What the extension does not read
It never reads or stores your auction password, payment pages, account or member pages, your notes, your watchlist or your saved searches on the auction site, and it never stores request headers or sign-in tokens. What it is allowed to read at all is your choice, from your account, and it obeys that choice on every browser you have connected.
Who sees it
Your account's data is visible only to people on your account, and that is enforced by the database rather than by the app. Listing photos and text are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to read the damage and to put the answer in plain words; your settings and your logged figures are not. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
One thing is shared, and only as a statistic: when three or more separate accounts have filed a price for the same part on the same year, make and model, the median of those prices is available to everyone. No individual price, account or name is ever shown.
We send account email - confirming your address, sign-in, invites, billing - and, if you leave them on, the morning alert, the day-before sale reminder, and a note a few days after an answer asking how the car went. Every one of those has a one-click unsubscribe, and turning them off does not affect account email.
Deleting your data
Ask us and we will delete your account and everything in it, including your photos. Shared auction listing data is not personal and is kept. Figures already folded into a shared median cannot be picked back out of it.
